Mazie is one of the prettiest black Rocky Mountain Mares you’ll ever lay your eyes on!!! She’s a tall mare, standing 15.2 hands! She was raised and started at one of Rocky Mountain’s oldest and elite breeders Van Bert Farm that is now the Grandson’s Tipton’s Mountain Horses! Mazie has top of the line show horse bloodlines in her pedigree such as Choco, Dock, Barlow Chief, Johnson’s Toby, Chocolate Venture and one of our favorites FairWinds Call The Dr!! Mazie is at Crosswind Stables finishing up a 60 day tune up and getting some trail riding until she is sold. She has such a solid 4 beat gait and natural headset that she could go in the ring right now! Mazie is very obedient, stands for the farrier, mounting, stands in cross ties, great ground manners and loads in the trailer and travels great! On the trails she’s not spooky, will lead or follow and has no problem going out alone! She moves off leg pressure and can do a 360 spin!
